What is a Meat & Three?

A meat and three is a Southern tradition: choose your favorite meat and pair it with three homestyle sides. The tradition goes back generations, when hearty, affordable plate lunches became a staple across the South. As people moved from farms into growing Southern cities in the early 1900s, the home-cooked midday meal came with them — meats, vegetables, cornbread and all. Nashville embraced it especially well, and the meat and three became part of the city's food culture. At Dalton's Grill, we are proud to keep that tradition going. Good portions, familiar Southern favorites, friendly service and a meal that feels a little like something you would have grown up eating around the family table. Some traditions are worth keeping.

Do you take reservations?

No reservations are needed. Walk in and we will get you seated. For a larger group, give us a call ahead of time so we can plan tables.

Can I order takeout?

Yes. Call us to place a pickup order and we will have it ready and waiting for you.

Do you have senior plates?

Yes. Senior Meat & Two, Senior Meat & Three, and a Senior Veggie Plate are on the menu. Ask your server about details.

Do you have a kids menu?

Yes. Kids plates include burgers, corn dogs, tenders, and spaghetti.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Tell your server about any allergy and they will walk you through the options. Our kitchen is not allergen-free, so please ask before ordering.

Where do I park?

We are in Bellevue Valley Plaza with free surface parking in front of the restaurant.

How can I pay?

We take cash and all major credit and debit cards. 

Is the entrance easy to get into?

Yes. The entrance is at street level with no steps, doorways are wide, and accessible parking spaces are right by the door.
